ABOUT THE CLIENT
Before Kelly Rae picked up her first paintbrush at the age of 30, she was a medical social worker. She followed her whispers and started playing around with paint, and everything changed. Today, she is a full-time artist, author, and Possibilitarian who is passionate about making meaningful art while helping women explore their creativity, nourish their souls and build thriving creative businesses. Her work has been sold in thousands of gift shops around the world, she takes creative women on inspiring retreats all around the world and she is a much-loved personal brand.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
I have had a long-term partnership with Kelly Rae, since 2016. Here’s some of what Kelly Rae said: ” One of the mistakes I made in the early years of my art biz was not paying any attention to creating a compelling brand. I started my business in 2005 and did not create any sort of cohesive narrative/branding until 2016! That’s ELEVEN years of winging it! Whaaaaaat? Don’t do that, friends! Once I officially had a brand (a visual identity with a logo/colors/a defined purpose/values, a personality come to life in a unique and cohesive voice), I wondered why I waited so long! Nowadays, it’s one of the things I hear over and over again. “Omgosh, I LOOOOVVVE your website, and everything you do!” THAT is excellent branding at work, communicating what I’m all about in 60 seconds or less. In 2022, we refreshed her branding and website to bring in some fresh new energy, photos, bright pink and greens. So many have fallen in love with Kelly Rae’s website and inspiring style, infused with her art details. We’ve continued to make tweaks and refinements since then including the NEW butterfly logo I developed in 2024.
