I’m sure you’ve been bitten by the curiosity bug before.

You’ve taken yet another look at your in-much-need-of-a-refresh website or all over the place marketing efforts and wondered, “How much would it actually cost to rebrand my business?”

To overhaul everything so you can have a brand that feels in alignment with you and embodies everything you’re becoming as a woman in business.

But, the intricacies of a rebrand, whether from scratch or with a starting point, sounds overwhelming. You’d rather have someone take care of it for you.
So, you type into Google “how much does a rebrand cost?” and the first results hit you. 😳

“You can expect your rebranding costs in the range of $75,000 to $150,000 to overhaul your company's brand.”

“For most small businesses, rebranding costs can be anywhere from $90,000 to $180,000 and take six to eight months to transform their brand.” “Costs can run from about $40,000 to low six figures.” 'Roughly $100,000–$250,000, over a period of 8–10 months.”

Umm, SAY WHAT?!

This is exactly why Google is useless to get a good idea of how much a rebrand could cost you. 

The broad definition of a “small business” is likely so different from if you’re a gal at home with a laptop and spirit trying to put your best foot forward in the business world.

Before you lose hope, I’m here to clear the fog for you 👇

If you’re a solopreneur –  no, you absolutely shouldn’t expect to pay six figures for a rebrand or brand launch. It’s just not necessary.

In saying this though, the cost can definitely vary a lot depending on what route you take to tackle your branding needs. 

Let’s look at it like this 👇

💰 If you hired a messaging strategy coach, it would likely cost $2-5K.

💰 If you hired a visual branding designer, it would likely cost $2-5K

💰 If you hired a website copywriter, it would likely cost $2-5K

💰 If you hired a website designer + developer, it would likely cost $2-10K

I’m pulling these figures from my experience with ballpark figures in the industry. Of course, the exact costs would all depend on the size of your website, your needs and the skills & expertise of those you work with

You can easily expect to budget at least a few thousand per above item if you’re looking to work with someone more highly skilled who can offer you the support you need.

For example, I have over a decade of experience as a branding graphic designer. I have very much honed my craft and approach as a soulful branding expert.

What I offer is so much more than a few logo files slapped together. 

It’s a deep dive into the very essence of who you are in business and brand. 

So, when my clients hire me to take care of all of these aspects (messaging, visual branding, website copywriting, design and development) it usually costs them between $9-16K USD to deliver their full visual branding and website suite. 

We work closely together over 6 months to bring their soulful brand to life and there’s no doubt it’s worth every penny!

👉 BUT, even if you see the value, it’s unrealistic to assume we can all afford to spend thousands on having our brand developed. 

As a working mother of two who spends $900 a week to send my twin boys to daycare, I totally get weighing up the realities of cost vs. value.

So, what happens if you simply can’t afford the $10K+ price tag yet? 

🙃 Does that mean you need to settle for some terrible DIY job?
